I have spoken to several patrons about how great our Playaways are and one of them asked if they can be played in the car. The answer is "yes, if you have the right adapter". The proper adapter will depend on how modern their stereo happens to be. The simplest one connects directly from the headphone jack on the Playaway to the jack in the stereo. It is just like the adapter for using an Ipod.
