The newest social media platform is called "Pinterest," and it's very pinteresting! An online pin up board of sorts, Pinterest allows users to share all the wonderful, crazy, funny, or interesting things they find on the internet. Pinterest, like most social media sites, aims to connect people who share similar interests and spread ideas. Their mission is simple: "Our goal is to connect everyone in the world through the 'things' they find interesting. We think that a favorite book, toy, or recipe can reveal a common link between two people. With millions of new pins added every week, Pinterest is connecting people all over the world based on shared tastes and interests."

When on certain websites by the "Tweet" and Facebook "Like" symbols, you can now find a "Pin It" symbol. This will pin this web page to your Pinterest bulletin board. Good to know what Pin It means when a patron asks.
