Hats off to Poudre River Library District
The Poudre River Public Library District is a shining example of spectacular customer service by answering the need of the evacuees of the High Park fire. They are working with the Red Cross and have set up services in the evacuation center located in Loveland. A few of the services they have provided are a projector and 8 laptops in the shelter briefing room, storytimes, children's and adult programming, a collection of donated books and backpacks of books to send with children as they seek shelter at other locations. I think this is a terrific example of how libraries can be a resource and a source of comfort to the communities they serve.
