Resume Templates

When a patron is creating a resume, a great place to get them started would be the resume templates in Word. Here is how to find them: Click the circular Office button in the upper left corner-click on new-there is a template list on the left side of the screen-scroll down and click on resumes and cvs. There are options for basic, job specific, and situation specific. The patron can select the resume that will work best for them and fill in the appropriate information. There are also templates for calendars, letterhead, business cards, flyers, etc...

  1. A great tool, Ann Marie! If you refer patrons to this tool better make sure you're comfortable with tables. When I taught computer workshops students always wanted to use these. The only problem is the tables are pretty complex and often left me scratching my head (and the student pulling out their hair).
